JP Luebsen, Consultant for the Macintosh. Lives in Desert Hot Springs area. JP has been working as a Consultant/technician for the Macintosh since 1989. He designs, installs and maintains Mac networks for film and TV production offices at most of the major studios in Hollywood. He has extensive experience training office staff as well as individual entrepreneurs in the use of design, productivity and financial software. (Photoshop, Illustrator, FileMaker Pro, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, QuickBooks, M.Y.O.B., etc...). He is also experienced installing/ upgrading drives, video cards and RAM. "There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a new user's eyes light up when they discover how something they had thought would be terribly difficult is, in fact, quite simple on a Mac!" Lately, he has particularly enjoyed aiding people in a "gentle migration" from Mac OS 9.x to OS X. Though his rates in Los Angeles range from $75.00 to $145.00/hr, for members of our Users Group he will make his services available for $50.00/hr for his first visit.
